We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to join our startup in the relationship health space. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a vital role in leading our communication efforts and driving organic traffic to our consumer subscription app. We believe that social media is a powerful platform to share stories about relationships, and we are looking for someone who can create compelling content and engage our target audience effectively.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility, drive organic traffic, and engage with our target audience.
Manage and maintain our social media accounts, including but not limited to Tiktok and Instagram
Create engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms, such as posts, videos, stories, and graphics, that resonate with our audience.
Identify trending topics, hashtags, and relevant conversations on social media to stay in tune with the Zeitgeist and leverage them to amplify our brand presence.
Implement strategies to grow our social media following, increase engagement, and drive conversions to our app.
Monitor and analyze social media metrics and KPIs to track performance, generate insights, and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms, bringing innovative ideas to enhance our social media presence.
Monitor and respond to social media inquiries, comments, and messages promptly, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive brand image.
Keep a pulse on our target audience, particularly Millennials seeking to improve their relationships, to ensure our content and communication efforts are highly relatable and impactful.

Job requirements
Proven experience managing the social media accounts of consumer brands, preferably within the US or UK, with a focus on lifestyle-centric brands.
Demonstrated ability to create compelling content and an eye for visual aesthetics.
A deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
Familiarity with the Millennial audience and an ability to identify with their needs, aspirations, and challenges in the context of relationships.
Previous experience working in early-stage startups, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical skills with a focus on quantitative growth metrics and the ability to derive actionable insights from social media data.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for storytelling and engaging with an online audience.
Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results.
